Per Max's tag, here's our Thanksgiving menu:
- 1 Sweet, 1 Jalapeno/Cheddar Cornbread
- Cranberry Sauce
- Priya's Perfect Potatoes (mashed potatoes)
- Glazed Carrots
- Sweet potatoes
- Green Bean Casserole
- Walnut-Apple Stuffing
- Pumpkin Corn Chowder
- The best Tomato Soup
- Butternut Squash Risotto
- Nary's Apple-Cranberry Crisp
- 2 Apple Tarts, one regular and one caramel
Anyone have any indispensable last-minute suggestions?
Happy Thanksgiving!
(PS - For those of you who find it blasphemous to celebrate Thanksgiving without a turkey, I challenge you to eat even 1/10th as much turkey as everything else, or to come up with a better menu than this. Yeah, that's what I thought.)

Umm...now I'm hungry and it's not Thanksgiving time yet! Sounds great. Also, I thought you should know that my smitten kitchen obsession (courtesy of you) has now spread to Laney as well. Your sphere of influence is ever growing. Have a great holiday! We'd love to see you if you visit over Christmas!
Uh, YUM!! It's true that the turkey ends up being a bit cumbersome (to prepare and to consume), especially when you have limited oven space. All your dishes sound so yummy! Happy Thanksgiving!
I noticed your sweet potatoes is not a recipe link. on my most recent blog post I have a sweet potatoes w/ coconut milk recipe.
you would love it!
mmmm...pumpkin corn chowder? i think i'll try working that into the christmas menu...
I bet that was a fantastic Thanksgiving! sounds delicious
i barely touch the turkey. the stuffing, mashed potatoes, and baked corn are sooo much better.
You are such an inspiration!!! I have cut way down on red meat and am slowly working toward a more vegetarian life style. Thanks for the good thoughts. I am sure it was yummy!
